David Hanson launches new changing facilities during HolyWellBeing Day

The team at HLC-CHT recently shared news about the upgraded facilities for less abled people, but last Saturday, David Hanson MP and the talented GB wheelchair Rugby team; popped into the centre to officially launch it during HolyWellBeing Day.

We now have ‘Changing Places’ status, a nationally recognised campaign to promote excellent facilities for those less abled. Visit our accessibility section for more information.

Saturday 23rd June – HolywellBeing Day

We’re joining in the fun on for this community event, which means our sports hall is going to be busy with activities for all to pop in, plus our pools will be affected.

Main pool however is open as usual at 10am to 1pm and we will have the giant pool inflatable available to the public from 12 noon to 1.00pm.

The small pools are open 11am to 1pm.

However to accommodate a pool party all the swimming pools will be closed from 1pm.

New Board member needed!

Do you have fond memories about using our facilities? Are you passionate about keeping the leisure centre doors open? Then you could be the person we’re looking for!

We are recruiting a new Trustee, a Board Member who can volunteer their time to help the centre succeed. To find out more and apply, visit our news section.

Booking Swimmy Bears

Our popular ‘Swimmy Bears’ class on every Saturday at 10.15am is proving to be such a big hit with families that we are having to introduce a booking system.

This class has traditionally been a ‘pay as you go’ session but after a record number of parent and tots turning up recently, we have reviewed the situation and are now operating a safe and fair system that everyone can enjoy.

It’s pretty straight forward really; we have 20 spaces available so the best thing to do is call in advance on 01352 355 100.
