The team at HLC-CHT recently shared news about the upgraded facilities for less abled people, but last Saturday, David Hanson MP and the talented GB wheelchair Rugby team; popped into the centre to officially launch it during HolyWellBeing Day.
We now have ‘Changing Places’ status, a nationally recognised campaign to promote excellent facilities for those less abled. Visit our accessibility section for more information.
Do you have fond memories about using our facilities? Are you passionate about keeping the leisure centre doors open? Then you could be the person we’re looking for!
We are recruiting a new Trustee, a Board Member who can volunteer their time to help the centre succeed. To find out more and apply, visit our news section.
Our popular ‘Swimmy Bears’ class on every Saturday at 10.15am is proving to be such a big hit with families that we are having to introduce a booking system.
This class has traditionally been a ‘pay as you go’ session but after a record number of parent and tots turning up recently, we have reviewed the situation and are now operating a safe and fair system that everyone can enjoy.
It’s pretty straight forward really; we have 20 spaces available so the best thing to do is call in advance on 01352 355 100.
HLC is now on the map! We took part in the Changing Places Campaign and now have national recognition for the brilliant disabled facilities we provide. To find out more visit our accessibility section.
The time has finally come to announce the launch of our spin bike classes!!
Starting January 8th, we’ll be trialling classes over six days to see what times work best for you – our lovely customers!
There’s also a few other new exciting additions to the timetable, including kettlercise – take a peak here.
After months in the making, our front of house reception and meeting room is finally getting transformed into more user friendly spaces. Whilst the reception desk is undergoing a well over due makeover, the meeting room is being turned into a family zone, with a soft play area for babies/toddlers.
Here’s a glimpse at how our reception area will look…
